Fall Color Report
Here it is mid-September already and the leaves are showing some nice reds and oranges. Color right now is about 10% with peak color being generally the last week of September and the first week of October. In our area we have about three to four peaks in different areas, first along U. S. 2 to Watersmeet-next south of Wakefield on Chaney Lake Rd. – and then on some of the logging roads in the Ottawa and later along Lake Superior Shore.
You will want to visit Copper Peak for our fall color and take the Adventure Ride to the top of Copper Peak for some of the most spectacular views in the Midwest. The color is breath taking. Come up and enjoy our fall color!!! If you have any questions you can call the office at 906-932-5-4850 or visit our website www.explorewesternup.com
