60 km of Scenic Cross Country Ski Trails -- ABR Trails is a full service ski touring center located on over 1100 scenic acres of varied terrain along the Montreal River in Ironwood Michigan. Our facilities include a heated warming cabin with light concessions, and a full service ski shop, change rooms, indoor restrooms, and a large heated wax area with many wax benches. This large upper-peninsula acreage plot is a 3rd generation family operation providing skiing excellence to all who appreciate big snows and silent sports in a pristine setting consisting of three main loops which wind through the towering hardwood forests and thick cedar swamps. Located two miles South of Wakefield on county 519. From snow-covered trees to abundant wildlife, Milje’s offers a peaceful and gorgeous Nordic experience. Use the updated warming house to enjoy a beverage or a snack with your family and friends by the toasty woodstove. Snowshoe traffic is accepted, please make sure you walk on the side of the groomed track or enjoy blazing your own trail. Enjoy the outside bonfire on the weekends as you take in everything the woods has to offer. Trail fees are required and sorry, no dogs.

Mount Zion – Ironwood Michigan
Located on the campus of Gogebic Community College, Mt. Zion is the oldest winter recreation complex in “Big Snow Country”. Owned and operated by GCC, Mt. Zion is open to the public. Wolverine Ski Trails - Ironwood Michigan
Wolverine Ski Trails is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization with the mission to preserve and promote nordic skiing and life long physical fitness on the Gogebic Range of the Western Upper Peninsula of Michigan and Northeastern Wisconsin.
