Lake Gogebic County Park

The Lake Gogebic County Park is located at N8598 Hwy-M64 in Marenisco, Michigan with direct access to Lake Gogebic.  Amenities available for day use include a swimming area, access to the pier, playground equipment, picnic area, and restroom facilities. The pavilion can also be reserved for a fee of $25/day.  Directions

Little Girls Point

Take a break and unplug from this simple, but well-maintained County Park and Beach. Little Girls Point extends over a half mile along Lake Superior. The beach is a magnet for rock pickers and agate hunters with crystal-clear water to swim, paddle, and float the day away.  Directions

Sunday Lake

Beautiful Sunday Lake is situated in the center of the city of Wakefield and is home to Eddy Park and Campground. The park offers a comfortable sandy beach and swimming area, pavilions available or rent, a boat launch, and a large playground.  Information

Sylvania Wilderness

The Sylvania Wilderness and Sylvania Recreation Area is located near Watersmeet, Michigan, and is part of the National Wilderness Preservation System. Combined with the adjacent Recreation Area, this 18,327-acre wilderness offers an outstanding experience for those who want to camp, fish, hike, canoe, ski, or enjoy the solitude of a wilderness experience. Few Wilderness compare to Sylvania. Here you will find 34 named lakes – some with sandy beaches, others surrounded by record-sized red and white pines.  Directions
