The Way We Worked Smithsonian

The Smithsonian Traveling Exhibit coming to Ironwood in April 4, 2015 until May 31, 2015. "The Way We Worked" Smithsonian Exhibit will be displayed at Downtown Art Place, Exhibit Coordinators are Rick Semo & Nancy Korpela.

Learn about how you can be a part of this two month event. If you are interested in volunteering for the Smithsonian Project or the special history events in celebration of this event contact the following people. There are many volunteers currently working to host surrounding community events scheduled to celebrate area history in conjunction with this special traveling exhibit.

LGACC Sponsored Spring Walleye Tournament. Catch & Release. Sat. 7am(ct)-7pm. Sunday 7am-noon. 1st place $1000. Prizes thru 10th place. Entry fee $40. Prize presentation & lunch at Root Cellar. Register day of event at most businesses around the lake or day of event at Starting Locations: at Bear's Nine Pines, Gogebic Lodge, Hoop'N Holler, Fishtales Pub & Grub, Root Cellar or Bergland Dock. Pre-register before May 1 and your name will be entered in a $50 drawing. Forms on chamber website
